THINGS I AM

An avid word-organiser. An ironic ‘live laugh love’ sayer. A people and/or cat person. An aspiring girlboss, as the kids say. Most importantly, what underpins all of this is my absolute dedication to people and the power of community and art to affect social change.

So what do I even do?

I have a wide range of work and volunteer experience that I have accumulated over the past two years - all with the purpose of honing my skills in writing, communications, and management. These are brief overviews. For more information, make your way to my Curriculum Vitae and Blog.

  • I am coming up on three years of extensive writing, workshopping, and developing my voice as a critic and a storyteller as part of my degree. On top of that, I have edited student magazines in KL and Aberystwyth, and my writing has been translated and featured in Malaysian publications. Flair speaks for itself.

  • My interest in design stems from the role it plays in crafting a strong, and precise message. Simply put, I notice everything - so everything I do needs to perfect. Of course, the visual element is just part of my fascination with the process of creating and designing a wider communications strategy.

  • I’ve been thrown into the deep end many times, and as a result I have learned best practices for running and managing teams to achieve specific goals. From organising a National Assembly for a national charity, to assisting in organising exhibition openings, I have a track record of meticulousness and reliability.
